SEMANTIC FIELDS IN THE POETRY OF IMAM NUR AL-DIN AL-SALMI’S “ANWAR AL UQOL”

This study discussed; Semantic fields in the lights of Al-salmi’s “Anwar Al Uqol”. The problem lies development semantics, breadth its interests, multiplicity mechanisms and diversity discussions, until it has become an approach that deals with texts through analysis, to probe depths decipher closures. Therefore, researchers differed semantics terms their view meaning, this difference resulted emergence several approaches theories studies meaning. aims diagnose semantic Poetry, present ideas topics. researcher followed descriptive analytical tracing techniques approach. came four sections, first: Definition Imam Salmi. second: definition his poem. Then level poetry, finally: fields. reached findings: al-Salmi's circumstances did not discourage him from gaining knowledge taking scholars, for he lost eyesight when was twelve years old, spite moving between parts Oman obtain sit scholars. His poetry included a variety topics, most notably: significance science effects ignorance, loyalty innocence divisions, repentance consequences penitent person, use provided clear vision issues revealed concerns repeated attempts Alert people get back on right path.
